During the next academic year I am moving to London to pursue a masters degree. As such, I am renting out my apartment in central Stockholm.
The newly-renovated apartment has a bright and urban interior. Half walls divide the main space into multiple rooms. These half walls allow for a flow of light and air through the apartment, making the apartment seem spacious and open while simultaneously providing the feeling of separate rooms. The bed is placed in an alcove with privacy from the central living space.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a large number of cabinets, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, a gas stove and oven, and a microwave, with plenty of counter space. A countertop folds down over the stove to provide extra working space when the stove is not in use.
The bathroom, with black and green tiling, comes with a large shower and two storage cabinets, one integrated in the wall and the other underneath the sink.
The welcoming entryway has ample storage options. The apartment overall has several integrated shelves in the half walls and alcoves, providing additional storage space complemented by a mid-sized walk-in closet. There is a well-equipped washroom in the building with several washing machines, driers and drying cabinets. There is also an interior yard with bike racks.
The apartment is located on Södermalm close to Nytorget. Slussen and Medborgarplatsen metro stations are within a ten minute walk, and buses 2, 3 and 76 depart right outside. The apartment is on a quiet street while the nearby area around Nytorget and Skånegatan has a rich nightlife with a great selection of bars and restaurants.
