We have one room available in our large stand alone villa with garden and five spacious rooms on Stora Essingen. Moving in date from November 1st and no later than December 1st. The available room is 22 sqm with a private balcony. The room is let unfurnished. The house is beautiful with hardwood floors, high ceilings and large windows. There’s a (sadly out of tune) piano, a sauna, an 18 sqm sunroom and a large garden with a patio and barbecue possibilities. It’s a stone’s throw from the water and close to tram and bus (about 20 min to T-centralen). The house is very peaceful and the area quiet yet close to the city centre. There is a free parking spot for the house.
We are looking for a single person who likes the idea of sharing a house and is planning to stay in Stockholm long term. We are not able to accept pets in the house. So far the house has always had an international feel, and currently we’re a German, an Austrian and two Swedes. You’d be sharing with a polar scientist, a civil society practitioner, a linguist and an environment civil servant.
Bills for all utilities including internet are paid collectively and include shared items like cleaning products, toilet paper, coffee, tea and cooking oil. Rent is 6000 a month, and we pay an additional 1000 per month each for bills and shared costs. We ask a two month deposit and have out own system for contact, finance etc (meaning we don’t use the Qasa setup).
