Hello
I have an apartment in Hässelby – a couple minutes walk to Lake Mälaren or Grimsta nature reserve. Hässelby Strand station is 5 minutes walk away, which is 30-40 min to T-Centrallen on the green line.
The room is a good size, and currently has a bed (which can be removed if you have your own), and built in closet – other furniture is negotiable!
The rest of the apartment is decent sized, we would share kitchen, dining room, living room, balcony, and a study/rec room.
There is one large bathroom and a seperate toilet. There is large storage unit in the building’s basement we can also share.
There is wifi, a washer/dryer in the apartment (plus a large laundry room in the basement that can be booked) and a cleaner comes every other week.
The housing association also has a workshop, guest room, small weight gym, and sauna.
About me:
I am a 37, Canadian, woman. I have been living in Stockholm for 2 years for work – I have, unfortunately, not learned swedish yet, so I would need my potential roommate to have good english skills. I like hiking and camping, I am not good at making things but I like to try… I was active in the ”Burner community” when I lived in London (if that doesnt mean much to you, that is understandable, google BurningMan and you can see about the festival and the type of principles and ideas around it)
I have 2 cats, they are indoor only, and very sweet.
I am still decorating/unpacking myself, so no current photos,
I am attaching a floorplan so you can get an idea. The room for rent in red.
Also attached is the picture of the room from the real estate listing when I purchased, to give a better perspective on size – this furniture/decor is no longer there (just a different bed)
